Projects supported

Many scientific missions have already been carried out since 2021 on board our fleet in the Arctic and Antarctic. Marine biology, oceanography and environmental chemistry are just a few examples of key projects that help us better understand these fragile ecosystems.

Head for the North Pole

In 2024, 20 scientists made the first Transarctic crossing aboard the Commandant Charcot to gain a better understanding of the evolution of the fragile Arctic ecosystem. These polar region experts shared the objectives of their special missions to this strategic and inaccessible region with our guests reporters.
